SCRUM ANALYST
The Role of a Business Analyst as Product Owner in Scrum
A product owner’s main responsibility is to ensure that the product offers a strong value proposition to both customers and users, while producing the intended business benefits. This role appears to be an excellent fit for a business analyst in a scrum development environment, giving him added responsibility for the ROI of the project.
Traditionally, a business analyst acts as an interface to convey understanding of the customer’s requirements to the developer. Responsibility for this function in scrum rests with the Product Owner, which backs up the claim that a business analyst could fulfil this role.
