CCBA
The CCBA Eligibility Requirements
In order to be eligible to write the CCBA exam, you must meet the following criteria:
- A minimum of 3700 hours of work experience as a business analyst that aligns with the practices outlined in the BABOK Guide.
- A minimum of 900 hours in each of 2 of the 6 knowledge areas, or 500 hours in each of 4 of the 6 knowledge areas.
- A minimum of 21 hours of professional development.
Applicants for the exam are also required to submit two references from a career manager, client or a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP). As a further commitment to the profession, you are required to sign a Code of Ethical Conduct and Professional Standards laid down by the IIBA.
