The CCBA Programme Overview

Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA) is awarded by the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) to recognize an individual’s knowledge, experience, skills and expertise in this field. The examination may only be taken by experienced business analysts who have acquired the core skills of the profession.

The programme aligns with ISO standards for the certification of competence. Applicants should be very familiar with the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) Guide which is compiled by the IIBA. This is a standard for the practice of business analysis that is recognized globally. Applicants do not need to have membership of the IIBA to write the exam, but members do qualify for a discount on exam fees.
