A Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering (CPRE) is a certification that is governed by the International Requirements Engineering Board based in Germany. Requirements engineering is often part of the responsibilities of an IT Business Analyst, but as a dedicated role, a requirements engineer fits somewhere between a business analyst and a systems analyst.
