BUSINESS ANALYST SHORT COURSES
Generally, a short course is used to impart knowledge of a subject in a short period of time; most often in a day or two. They are not designed to give you in-depth knowledge of an entire profession. That is the role of a comprehensive degree or diploma course.
Effective short courses deliver powerful, bite-sized amounts of knowledge that will enhance the formal theoretical and practical training of a participant. Short courses for a business analyst are designed to meet various needs:
- To supplement existing knowledge.
- To give people, new to the field of business analysis, a fundamental appreciation for the profession.
- As refresher courses for experienced analysts.
- To teach participants about new technology, developments, methodologies or trends in business analysis.
Ideally, the educational institution or training facilitator should issue a certificate to each individual on successful completion of the course. This serves as a valuable record of continuing education.
