On Friday the 28th of July, ‘escent were very happy to host the July plenary of CAPS at our offices following the initiative of our PSD2 expert Karthik Jagannathan. ‘escent has been an early member of the CAPS initiative and this membership is important for our growing Business Analysis and Payments centre of excellence. CAPS is an industry initiative closely tied to the upcoming PSD2 regulation where senior experts from banks, fintechs, product companies and consulting firms get together to discuss and analyse current key issues revolving around PSD2 and Open APIs. As a quick reminder PSD2 (Payment Services Directive) is a European customer-driven directive aiming at promoting innovation and creation of new financial and banking products.

‘escent is proud to support such a forward-thinking initiative in line with its continuous improvement value and hopes CAPS had a great meeting in our Brussels’ office. We are looking forward to host more of these CAPS plenaries.
